CADCEUS/MoldDesign is a packege developed
on top of CADCEUS standard functions targeting effective design of mold
die for wide range of mold products such as automobile bumper, inner panel,
camera body, mobile phone, etc. CADCEUS/MoldDesign
provides domain specific high level functions such as user defined mold
base/parts, die parting, die splitting, ejector pin design, cooling pipe
design, etc. It also privides wide viriety of parametrically represented mold
parts libraries. Use of this package together with CADCEUS standard functions
covers all the design process of mold products, and enables quality improvement
and development time/cost reduction. Though CADCEUS/MoldDesign
is a typical 3D parametric system, special consideration is taken to provide
2D like design environment for ease of use.
